The Hot Work is a tent made of flexible fire resistant panels. It creates an overpressure environment, acting as a barrier between the ignition source (hot work) and the explosive/fire hazard (hydrocarbon). It is a temporary, inflatable structure meant to assist hot work in hazardous environments. It is a self-contained system that does not require connection to vessel gas detection or control systems, or costly production shutdowns. The fire retardant panels link together simply to create a pressured atmosphere, resulting in a safe enclosure for hot work (welding, burning, cutting, grinding, etc.) and electrical cabling in potentially hazardous regions.
